1994 - Boiling Springs, NC
In the summer of 1994, I worked at a grocery store in Boiling Springs,
NC. I was outside this Saturday night along with a friend changing the
advertisement sign for the week when a bright blue glow in the sky
caught my eye. I have always been fascinated with UFO's and such, and I
was in awe of what I was looking at with my own two eyes. I was
wondering what this thing was while it was just hovering seemingly
overhead. It couldn't have been more than a couple hundred feet in the
air and a few hundred yards above where I was standing. I just
completely quit doing what I was doing and watched and never said a
word. After about 30 seconds or maybe less, it took off in a way that
no aircraft built on earth could do. It just whirled around and was
gone. Still didn't make a noise. No human could be subjected to the
amount of force that was created by the way that thing took off.
Finally, AFTER it was gone and out of sight, I asked my friend who was
out there working with me if he saw that. He asked me what I was
talking about and I described it the best I could considering the
anxiety I was under living out my dream of seeing a UFO. I basically
told him that it was this blue light that just came down and went. He
never saw it and to this day, I wish I would have nudged him and made
sure that he was a witness to one of the biggest things to ever happen
to me. Everybody I tell this story to has their doubts I'm sure because
there was no witnesses other than myself, but I'll swear to this
sighting until the day I die.
